At Playful Hearts ChildCare, LLC, keeping children safe is just one of our many priorities when it comes to caring for your child. We have taken all necessary precautions to ensure your child is safe at all times while in our care.
Our security measures include:
- Fingerprint or number code entry systems to access the children's areas
- Closed circuit camera system throughout the center inside and out
- Computerized check in/out system
- Easily visible classrooms/ Classroom observation windows
- Staff uniform shirts and name badges
- Visitor, Solicitor, and Tour Policies in place
- Secure outdoor play areas with locking gates
- Sprinkler system throughout the building
- First Aid and CPR trained staff always in the center
- Emergency First Aid kits located in various locations throughout the building
- Emergency procedures in place and practiced at least once a month on varied shifts to ensure all staff know proper procedures during emergencies
- Ongoing training with staff to ensure emergency procedures are fine tuned, and can easily be implemented in an emergency scenario
- Interconnected phone system with intercom capabilities that easily dials any or all extensions in the building
- Systems in place to check the ID of any persons unknown to staff that may be picking up a child or be attempting to enter the building
- Tracking system in place for staff to check children in and out on roll-call, to count the number of children in care, and visually compare children in attendance to those listed on roll-call
