Playful Hearts ChildCare, LLC is a privately owned full-day, year-round childcare center. We are a licensed Group Daycare Center serving up to 68 children ages 2 weeks to 13 years old. The center is open January through December from 5:00am to 12:00am (midnight) Monday through Friday and 8:00am to 5:00pm Saturday.
Our center has been developed to serve the needs of TODAY'S family dynamics. While we are dedicated to serving families who require care for their children, our center is able to cater to families needing non-traditional hours by offering extended hours and days to accommodate the parent’s schedule. We understand that many families today work two jobs, are single parent households, working and attending college, working a 2nd or 3rd shift job, or have other circumstances that require varying hours of care needed or late night care. With parents at the helm, our priority is to create an environment where children will thrive and learn the fundamentals they will need for a life time love of learning; making the center a close-knit community. As teachers and caregivers, our goal is to achieve a sense of continuity between home and school. We believe it is important for children to maintain a familiar and comfortable routine. Through parent/teacher communication, we individualize each child’s care and learning opportunities.

Our primary goal is to provide your child with the very best care and enrichment environment possible, while working to meet the needs of your individual family, by providing the fun, loving, educational care children deserve! This involves providing a high-quality early childhood program that promotes physical, emotional, and cognitive development in a caring environment.
Through helping children acquire an understanding of self and others in a positive and caring atmosphere of warmth, personal respect, and individuality, we seek to:
*Provide children with the opportunity to choose from activities in the areas of literacy, math, science, art, dramatic play, block, manipulative, and sensory during free play.
*Provide structured teacher directed group times that include music, movement, stories, sharing, discussion, and games.
*Encourage creativity through the emphasis of the process rather than the product.
*Choose materials, activities, and games that challenge each child to continue exploring, growing, and learning at his/her own pace.
*Encouraging children to think, reason, question, and experiment.
